it is indeed a great idea to ride with an unrestricted pipe !! NOBODY will ever want to ride 20 meters behind YOU, hahaha !! If you don't belive me let somebody ride your bike and you follow. The sound is terrible when you ride behind. You cannot hear your own thoughts. And it will be expensive when the guys in blue jackets notice you...and they will !
But enjoy it as long as you can, on my previous bike I also had a very "symbolic" muffler and I liked it a lot. But it is really not necessary that people hear you two miles away, is it ? LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES ! Maybe, maybe but it will also give you unhappy neigbours and things like that.
Scorpion is sure right when talking about individual freedom, but we're not only bikers on this planet (sad and surprising, isn't it ).
Make the Hartman mods, and you'll get an even lower and better, massive sound and faaaar less decibels !
